Governance
The Lewis Estates Community League is a Society registered with Alberta Registries. The LECL Board meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m., meetings are open to the public and LECL minutes of general meetings are available to members and are also available here. (Note: the board reserves the right to enter into a confidential session – those minutes are only available to members who were present during the confidential session). LECL bylaws are available for download below.
As many members already know, casino funds, membership sales, and operating grants only get us so far and we as a community have to look for other ways to fund community programs and improvements.
