The LECL is looking for volunteers to work a day or evening shift at our annual Casino Fundraiser event on Monday, December 5th and Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 at the Starlight Casino in West Edmonton Mall.
You can sign up for one of the 36 positions that we need to fill. The event typically raises around $70,000 to go towards community initiatives, which we use to get matching grants.
There is no need to feel intimidated by the position titles as all positions are super easy and there is a professional on-site to guide all of us every step of the way. If you have any questions, you can reach out to our Casino Coordinator, Brandy, at [email protected]

Please note:
- Volunteers working more than one shift must hold the same position.
- Volunteers are not allowed to gamble in any way at the Casino or consume alcohol or drugs during the event.
- Photo ID is required for the computer system.
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your shift.
- Wear comfortable clothing, especially shoes. Casual, clean, no rips.
- FOOD and DRINKS will be provided (meal must be ordered from the restaurant before 11pm).
