The LECL will be hosting our annual Lewis Estates Community Bin Event on Saturday, June 8 in the parking lot of the West Meadows Baptist Church (9333 199 St) from 9am - 1pm. LECL members can use this opportunity to freely dispose of unwanted household items, like furniture and electronics. This event is open to LECL members only. Memberships will be available for purchase on site if you do not already have one.
Materials Accepted
Materials Not Accepted
Large items, or unreasonable loads will be at the discretion of community league volunteers.
You must have a valid LECL membership (can be purchased online www.efcl.org)
Materials Accepted
- Couches, chairs, mattresses and other household furniture items too large for curbside pickup
- Computers, televisions and other household or small office electronics (will be recycled)
- Yard waste, including branches no longer than 1.2 metres (4 feet) by 0.75 metres (2.5 feet) in diameter
Materials Not Accepted
- Commercial waste
- Smoke and CO2 detectors
- Household hazardous waste - please take to an Eco Station, they will be accepted at no charge
- Fridges, freezers or stoves
